Devotionals for Wednesday: May 4

Introduction

As we study the Gospel, we pray for, anticipate, and expect spiritual growth in our lives. To facilitate this spiritual growth, we will use two components. One component is the commitment to attend the Wednesday Bible study from 7 pm-8:15 pm, either on campus in the Worship Center or via Livestream at www.bethelhampton.com. The second component is a set of weekly devotionals that we complete prior to the Wednesday Bible study.

The questions listed below are for you to answer and reflect upon as you study the chapter for this week. We suggest that you take at least four or five days each week for this personal devotional.

Joshua, Week 01

Day 1 – Joshua 1:1

1. Who was Joshua?

2. What was his name before being called Joshua?

Day 2 – Exodus 17:8

1. Write down what God has chosen you to do or called you out to be? Have you said “Yes” to the calling? If you do not know what God has called you to be; ask Him. Remember, seek God and you will find Him.

Joshua 3:7 and Numbers 27:18-20

2. Has God ever magnified/made notice of you to others in public? Recount the event. – Remember, seek God and you will find Him.

Exodus 17:8-15

Day 3 – Hebrews 11:1

Day 4 – Isaiah 65:2-3, 5

1. What do you think a person means when he/she says, “So, you think you’re holier than thou?” Remember, seek God and you will find Him.

Day 5 – Joshua 7:1-10
