“Trust and Obey”

When I sit and think of whom it is that I can fully put my trust in, the words to the song “Trust and Obey” resonate in my spirit.  The word of God exhorts us to fully put our trust in Him. “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm.  Let nothing move you.  Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” (1 Cor. 15:58)

Challenges in life are sure to occur.  He can make what seems impossible possible.  Let the words of our Father penetrate in your heart and transform your walk in Him.  There is victory in trusting in the truth of God’s word.  “All your words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal.” (Psalms 119:160)

Yes, we can fully trust Him in all situations.  It may not look or feel like we expect, but we know He is working all things together for our good.  “Trust and obey, for there’s no other way, to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.”

PrayerFather, when we are weak and feel faint, help us to draw strength from you, the well of our salvation.  You are our strength and power like none other!  We can come to you, and you hear us when we pray.  Thank you that you love us with an everlasting love.  “You are near, O lord, and all of your commandments are truth.” (Psalms 119:151)
