OUTREACH
Our mission is to go beyond our walls and restore hope to the hopeless and provide opportunities for all to experience the transformational message of Jesus Christ. Our desire is to demonstrate His love in tangible ways to the many hurting people in our community.
Jesus said, “...when I was hungry, you fed Me, and when I was naked, you clothed Me”; and we seek to fulfill His words through various outreach opportunities that include our food truck, community dinners, free haircuts, clothing closet, USDA food distribution, and food pantry..
Each outreach is carried out by faithful volunteers, and there are opportunities for everyone to get involved and Be The Light in our community.
As a Community Dinner Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in serving freshly-prepared, delicious meals to community members in need.
Our community dinners are open to the public every Wednesday at 6pm.
As part of our dedicated team, you will assist in meal preparation, setup, serving, and cleanup.
This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about community service, enjoy working in team environments, and are committed to making a difference. Join us in our mission to foster community spirit and ensure no one in our community goes hungry.
As a Food Pantry Volunteer, you will be at the heart of our mission to combat hunger in our community.
This essential role involves assisting with the organization, stocking, and distribution of food items to individuals and families.
Our food pantry is a lifeline for many, offering a variety of nutritious food options, and is open to the public for anyone in need.
As a Clothing Closet Volunteer, you will play a pivotal role in providing essential clothing items to individuals and families in need.
Our clothing closet is a vital resource in the community, open to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week from 11:00am to 1:00pm.
In this position, you will assist with sorting, organizing, and distributing clothing donations to ensure those who come to us can find garments that suit their needs.
