Glory In The Lord

We can see someone else’s physical beauty, talent, gifts or accomplishments and it’s easy to be a bit intimated. We might even begin to feel that we’re not enough. But God is a perfect Father, and as we spend time with Him meditating on His word and in prayer, His gentle voice reminds us that what’s important is not what we look like on the outside, or who we are or can attain, but who we know Him to be in and through us.

We should consider the Lord our most worthy pursuit and thank Him for transforming us into His beautiful likeness and for delivering us from a struggle to be someone other than who He made us to be!

Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches; but let him that glories glory in this: that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord who exercises loving-kindness, justice, and righteousness in the earth for in these things I delight declares the Lord.” Jeremiah 9:23-24
