About Our Executive Director
Lori Ricks ministers alongside her husband, Charles Ricks, Jr., as he serves as Senior Pastor of Bethel Temple Church, Hampton, Virginia. Lori is a 2008 graduate of Regent University (B.S. in Organizational Leadership and Management), and she has been employed by Huntington Ingalls Industries for 38 years as an executive assistant to its Chief Legal Officer.
She is a respected leader and inspirational speaker/teacher, and considers it a great honor to serve as Christ‘s ambassador to build sisterhood and community. Over the years she has served in various ministries including Worship & Arts, L.I.F.E. (Living in Fellowship and Evangelism) Group leader, Marriage Ministry, Christian Education and Children’s Ministry. Lori loves the Lord and takes great joy in seeing the truth of His word unfold in people’s lives.
Charles and Lori have been married for 33 years and they have two adult sons, Charles, III (Ricky) and Justin, and a daughter-in-love, Se’era. She is proud to be called “Mimi” by her 10-year old grandson, Christian; and 4-year old granddaughter, Eleonora.
